Reintroducing GCC5

Why are we doing this? What problem are we solving? Why now?
For the past ten years, Dubai has been my classroom.
I’ve worked at Ogilvy, BBDO, Havas and digital agencies. I’ve also sat on the client side at Emaar and d360 Bank, including the experience of building a brand from scratch.
Different places. Different pressures. The same problem kept appearing.
Brands were being pulled in two directions: brand on one side, commercial results on the other. Ideas were either too disconnected from business or reduced to short-term selling.
The cost was more than inconsistency. It was lost time, wasted resources and unclear decisions.
Most teams are too close to what they make or sell. They think they see the problem clearly, but often they are looking at it through their own assumptions.
That is where GCC5 began.
We created GCC5 to close the gap between brand and commercial through great creative concepts: big ideas built on strategy, grounded in insight and made to work across channels.
Our concepts are not created simply to look interesting. They are designed to solve problems, move people and move the business. They have enough life to grow, and enough structure to be executed.
We started GCC5 in 2024. Today, we’re reintroducing it with a clearer vision and a sharper point of view.
AI can help make things faster. But it cannot decide what a brand should stand for. As more work begins to look the same, clarity, character and direction matter more.
We’re here for the brave few who understand that brand is not separate from commerce. It is what gives commerce meaning.
